Byrd Cara Cara 2 Rescue Folder Knife, SpyderEdge Blade

The newest installment of the Cara Cara 2 family is ideal for hunters or rescue personnel. Each model features a stainless steel blade that is manually deployed and the safety-conscious blade style decreases accidental puncturing. The Cara Cara 2 family utilizes Byrd’s back lock mechanism–a locking system positioned on the back of the handle that uses a rocker arm that pivots in the center. This knife is part of Spyderco’s Byrd family which offers all of the same functionality and convenience of Spyderco’s production models but at a lower price point for the budget-conscious or those especially new to knives. This model features black FRN (Fiberglass-Reinforced Nylon) handle scales complete with Bi-Directional Texture™, a fully serrated (SpyderEdge) sheepsfoot style blade in a satin finish and the 4-way positional pocket clip allows for a tip up or tip down carry option on either side of the handle.
