Byrd Meadowlark 2 Rescue Folder Knife, SpyderEdge Blade

The newest installment of the Meadowlark 2 family is ideal for hunters or rescue personnel. This model features a flat ground stainless steel blade and that offers great cutting performance while still providing ease of maintenance and strategic placed jimping for secure grip. The Meadowlark 2 utilizes a lock back mechanism–a locking system positioned on the back of the handle that uses a rocker arm that pivots in the center while the blade is manually deployed with the help of Byrd’s signature comet-shaped hole. This knife is part of Spyderco’s Byrd family which offers all of the same functionality and convenience of Spyderco’s production models but at a lower price point for the budget-conscious or those especially new to knives. This lightweight model features black FRN (Fiberglass-Reinforced Nylon) handle scales complete with Bi-Directional Texture™, a fully serrated (SpyderEdge) sheepsfoot style blade in a satin finish and the 4-way positional pocket clip allows for a tip up or tip down carry option on either side of the handle.
